DAC After Hours: For the Community
Have you ever wanted to run your own community event but weren’t sure where to start?
Throughout 2026, Dugdale Arts Centre (DAC) is inviting community groups, charities and CICs, independent artists, aspiring event producers and community organisers to takeover DAC After Hours, our community-focused night late event.
We’ll provide the space, support and expertise...you bring the idea.
You will get:
- 4 hours free venue hire* of the main DAC space
- 2 hours event production consultation with our expert team
- Tech and AV set up to suit your event
- DAC After Hours branded marketing assets to help promote your event
- A fully staffed venue and bar team to support smooth delivery on the night

- Fri 29th May
- Sat 30th May
T&Cs:
- *A £500 minimum bar spend applies
- Application must be submitted and approved at least 8 weeks before proposed event date.
- Dates subject to availability.
- Capacity: 50 seated, 100-150 standing. Seating configuration and capacity must be agreed with DAC management in advance of event going on sale.
- Get-in from 17:00 (after venue closes to the public)
- Event time: 18:00-22:00
- Last orders at the bar: 21:45
- Bar closes and event ends: 22:00
- Event organisers and audiences must be off-site by 23:00 or late get-out fees may apply.
Staffing & Technical support
- 1 x Duty Manager
- 1 x Box Office Assistant
- 2 x Bar Staff
- 1 x Duty Technician
Any additional staffing must be provided by the event organiser or can be booked through DAC at £20 per person per hour (4-hour minimum).
